Thank you so much for your prayers! It's wonderful here! The internet where we're staying has been down so I haven't been able to update till now. Today is an exciting day because some strings were able to get pulled so that all 21 kids get to see and swim in their first swimming pool EVER today! The hotel management where we're staying is graciously letting us all invade. I can't wait to see all the JOY!
Somehow this is a glimpse of how life should be lived. 25 or so people living in one place-laughing, serving, caring, loving, playing with one another--seeing redemption from past pain and hurt in a very tangible way as life in every imaginable way gets resurrected.
Too many stories to share now...but last night we did get to see a TARANTULA. Oh my...it was HUGE! You can imagine...Steve was going nuts. Our own resident Crocodile Hunter was all over it.
I'll try to write much more tonight and then hopefully upload it in the morning. Love you guys! Just thinking about our church's partnership here makes me all the more thankful for all of you!! Your generosity is making such a difference in the lives of these kids!!!!
JB,
Please know that we are praying for you and Doc's family during your trip. Love you and miss you all.
See you soon.

We check the computer everyday to see an update about your trip. We are following closely. I wish I could be there! You have changed those kids' lives but now they are changing yours I am sure. What an experience!
