We had a good run, ol' friend, but alas, I'm retiring from the blogging world. The last year has felt a little like Sammy Sosa. Sosa has been out of baseball for quite a while, he just hasn't officially announced his retirement. Everyone knows he's done. He just hasn't said it out loud. Now, at the same time, I'm not saying that I'll never Brett Farve and come out of retirement for another run. But, for now, I'm done.
I'll keep the site active simply because there's still some good stories and content worth referencing. If nothing else, the Marriage Myths will hopefully continue to be helpful, the Halloween theory will save me from rewriting the same response every year, and the Haitian accident will explain why certain moments still cause me to have flashbacks.
So, moving forward, Facebook is probably the best way to keep up with me. For now, thanks for journeying with me. It's been a good run.

A true friend is forever a friend. They are with friends -- the people with whom we often share our deepest thoughts.

I am glad you are in the place where you can use your gifts. Your story sounds very similar to mine. I have had a blast these last 18 months. I am tired but very fulfilled and know that i am doing what God created me to do. Thanks for sharing and know that I am praying for you in your time of transition. Always available if you need to talk with another camp guy. Change is great.

I think Cincinnati's sucess depends on the leadership of the QB. Cincinnati can have all the talent in the world, but if Carson can not get the guys to come together as a team as Chad would say "Kiss the baby". Look at the Colts. Payton is a leader. The Colts do not
have the best individual players but it is the leadership of Payton that makes the team come together and win. It is up to the offense to stay on the field and score, giving our defense time to rest. I totally agree with what was said that the Bengals have to many mental errors. They need to work on the OL not jumping to soon. I saw that all year long last year.

It's perfect that people are able to get the loan and this opens completely new possibilities.
